Hello my amazing artists! I can’t wait to begin another year of art at OQS. We will paint, draw, weave, use clay and make sculptures. Hello remarkable readers! I am so excited to learn with you in both library and STEAM. In library we will read books together and you will also have plenty of time to check out books to bring home and read. For younger students, we will work on navigating the library, while older students will be exploring the larger media landscape. ~ Ms. Amick

Hello marvelous musicians! My name is Mrs. Stein and all 5th graders have the wonderful opportunity to join the OQS 5th Grade Band! As a member of the band, students will learn how to play an instrument and how to practice at home. They will also learn how to play their instruments together as a band and will perform in several concerts. Each band student will have one group lesson per week, and two full-band rehearsals per week. Here’s to a musical year! ~ Mrs. Stein
